Quetta Gladiators started their tournament with a win but lost the 2nd game against Peshawar Zalmi. They batted first after losing the toss and could manage to post 148 runs on the board. Openers Shane Watson and Jason Roy started the innings well but then the form lost his wicket in 3rd over. Ahmed Shehzad also went back in the dugout after scoring 12 runs. Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and Jason Roy handled the situation really well. Jason Roy batted beautifully for his 73 runs in 57 balls with 6 fours and 1 six.
